Note: Bizone was occupied by UK and USA, Trizone by USA, UK and France. Both weren't fully-free, but actually more free than the soviet one. Federal republic of Germany (better known as West Germany, after 1990 only Germany) was formed on 23rd May 1949.

Also, three dates in Polish borders are because de-facto Poland controlled territory since 1945, but East Germany accepted borders in 1950 and West Germany in 1970... There was even conference in 1990, but nothing important changed...
