Slightly modified version of a request by BA user Jaime.
In this Alternate History, the United States of America annexed more territories from Mexico during their previous war. This includes the Territories of Baja California and some land of the northern parts of Sonora and Chihuahua. However this aggressive expansion into Mexican territory was not unnoticed by the United Kingdom who pressured the USA to release some parts of the Oregon territory (today's Washington state), which they annexed into Canada.
