Greeks are not a majority in any place of Turkey except some small towns in the North Aegean. But those are small towns and the overall Turkish population of the area is bigger.

@Stanislaw20061 Probably during the Mongol Empire's apogee. Half of the actual Turkey was under mongol rule during a lot of years. I guess mongols came here in order to use a trade port or something like that. But it's only my guess.
